Havoc

Surgically designed and scientifically engineered for one purpose...to create Havoc for big game! The all-new two-blade mechanical Havoc is G5®’s first mechanical head to have Swiss Steel Lutz blades. This combination makes one of the sharpest blades ever on a broadhead. The blades lock in using our new Posi-Lock blade retention system: a no o-ring, no rubber band, no-hassle system. The 2+” cutting diameter Havoc also has a balanced blade deployment system that allows both blades to always deploy simultaneously, ensuring bigger and more consistent entrance holes. The new blade cartridge system allows users to change blades quickly and easily. The Havoc is available for both compound bows and crossbows in 100 and 125 grains and comes with a practice broadhead and G5 window decal. $48 a 3 pac

That's a strange looking tip. And why do they have to keep getting more and more expensive? I like that it doesn't have spider clips though.

What's the official cutting length? If it's over 2" does that mean it's not legal here in MD?

Im not seeing what holds the blades closed? Maybe that cylinder that keeps them synced or the screw is magnetic. That would be a brilliant way of holding them closed. And finally another company going to the ultra sharp lutz blades. One of the many reasons I love slick tricks. Might have to give these new heads a try next year.

Oh and they will make killing my back yard deer even easier than it already is...............................

While I'm no fan of mechanicals, G5 Strikers have Lutz blades also. Unbelievably sharp.

Looks interesting, but I'm serious. So far I have not really found a better design than the Rocky Mountain Revolutions I use. Never fail to open, easy as pie to change blades and Rocky's blades were always pretty sharp. And the Trocar tip is about the best there is for penetration in bone.

$48.00 and change is getting up there for three broadheads. No shooting at squirrels with those mofos.

So:

   $16 per broadhead

   $10 per arrow

+ $10 per lighted nock

$36 = Hope you don't lose your arrow!

I remember paying $39 for a doz Autumn orange XX75 but then again the doz would only last as long as 1 good carbon arrow.
