I thought some of  you would like to see the turkey pictures I took this morning. The burn pile doesn't seem to bother them. Anyone going to hunt the winter turkey season? It comes in next Thursday.

Nice gobblers, The turkeys in my yard seem to be eating grass, no other feed there now. I have killed turkeys that had green vegetation in them.

Yes there is some real good toms over there , I stopped putting corn out there two weeks or so ago so I can hunt them there . Hopefully the will stay in that area , I'm pretty sure they will

I was just looking at the regs. Did I read it correct the fall season pertains to only a few states but winter season is state wide?

BTW- Just returned from hunting and saw a few which we may hunt next week...

The Fall season in Md is only in Allegany, Garrett and Washington counties. The winter season is state wide. I don't understand the DNR reasoning for this, since the Fall season is only about a week long and few turkeys are harvested. Also you can use a rifle in the Fall and not in the Winter. No bait is allowed in any turkey season. Good luck.

New pictures from today.  I had a flock of 20 come into the yard today. I suspect someone is feeding them in the area.
