I passed by there about 5:10 this morning.
A black bear was hit and killed along Interstate 95 in Harford County early Tuesday morning, according to the Maryland Natural Resources Police and the Maryland Transportation Authority.
The MdTA was notified around 5:40 a.m., and maintenance crews found the bear’s body along the shoulder of the highway at mile marker 77.4 near the Route 24 interchange, according to Cheryl Sparks, the agency’s director of communications. I've always wondered if I would ever see a bear in my yard. I back up to Harford Glen, so I wouldn't be really shocked, but this bear was close! https://www.google.com/amp/www.baltimoresun.com/news/maryland/harford/aegis/ph-ag-black-bear-struck-0613-story,amp.html __________________ Venari ergo sum. Probably have them on shore eventually, growing up never had groundhog, beaver or coyote around lower shore but they're all around now. One did come vacation from jersey few years back and made it to centreville before panic set in. The state trapped it and moved it so not so far fetched, Bring them on, the ones I've had ate well!
