I was heading out this morning , I look over and I see this poor guy laying by the mailbox. I guess he got whacked by a car last night.

Perfect young eight pointer. He had been hanging around in the back yard as of late. He had such perfect potenial.

Makes me very sad to see any deer laying along the road.. :/  I have seen two fawns within the last couple weeks on the road in front of my house. 

Good looking young buck. Shame.

I have been considering going out there and hacking it off, Im just gonna leave it be. I drug it out of view into the weeds at least.

That thing is still laying over in the weeds, I thought for sure someone may grab the head. I may get the nerve up to cut the skull off and go bury it in the ground to do a natural skull mount. I just hate to see a deer go to waste

Bob...you should have gotten the backstraps...they were cured for some good eatin for sure....and don’t try and convince me that he would have been a good one in 2 yrs...that thing would have been in your trunk of your Cadillac this year fo sure.
