Just curious? Why don't you take your sorry butt outside and learn to judge distances by eye and practice....Im a sorry butt too lol
Is it possible to mount your rangefinder to your bow? Somehow be able to synchronize the rangefinder and sightpins? Or mount the finder to the bow and view the yardage at full draw?
1000.00 bucks?forget it!

Pretty sweet. Until the big buck walks in and the batteries are dead.

More and more contraptions that will make you less and less of a "HUNTER".

Isn’t a compound a contraption over a recurve....personally I would not spend $1000 on a a sight. However, if that “contraption” allowed for better shots, less deer loss due to misjudging distances, then its a good “contraption”...but too expensive. Now if they come out with that at $300, 50% of the guys on here are buying it.

TO high tech for me. I’d have that thing all screwed up. N even at 300 I wouldn’t own it to expensive. It is cool though. My brother will have one. He shoots a lot of 3d n diff arrows n all. That sight has memory to save diff pin setups. Again cool but not for this guy.

Haven’t true hunters been a dying breed all the way back when rifles were invented. What constitutes a “hunter” anyway. Just about everyone has a range finder in their bag and multiple fiber lite pin sights to select from...not many people anymore just judge distance...that was way easier when just recurves were around and you could only shoot 20-30 yds.
I don’t think this device takes away from scouting (although everyone has trail cameras today for scouting), using the wind, checking for food sources, looking for travel corridors, or a good ole fashion corn pile (sarcasms)etc.

A bow sight does not make you any less or more a hunter. Sight has to do with shooting. Still have to get in range. That being said I don't need more than what I have to shoot 25 yards. Rarely shoot anything further.

another thing is the legality in MD. Wasn't the bow mounted rangefinder Leopold had out a few years ago deemed illegal?

Guess that's why I "suck" compared to many. Don't usually carry a rangefinder, or even binos, no cameras anywhere, single pin on bow, I cheat with a xbow due to shoulder, single shot shotgun, don't put out corn ( will hunt it if I'm a guest of someone who does). Hunt sign and travel coridoors trying to play wind for the most part. Hunted 9 or 10 times this season and managed to take 3 WT doe and 1 ska hind. I'm pretty content with that.

Seems like overkill to kill an animal at 30 yards. Western hunters I could see some use for this.
