And I am not ready for it..

Major League Baseball and CLEAR are teaming up to launch biometric ticketing, allowing fans to use their fingerprints — and eventually facial recognition — to enter the ballpark. A pilot program will arrive at select venues later this season. In 2019, MLB and CLEAR plan to roll out biometric ticketing to ballparks that utilize CLEAR and Tickets.com technology.

“We’ll be able to immediately link [fans’] CLEAR accounts to their MLB.com account. Your biometrics – your face and fingerprint – become your ticket,” CLEAR co-founder and CEO Caryn Seidman-Becker told FOX Business.

The platform will expand to point-of-sale systems and possibly more teams, according to executives. CLEAR said it plans to offer biometric concessions in the state of Washington. Fans will be able to pay for food and validate their age for alcohol purchases using their fingerprint.

So, my Dad has season tickets.  He goes to games himself and often take me, my brother, and friends with him.  How's that going to work since it's always different people using his 2nd ticket?

Oh, and btw, the hackers on the dark web already have my SSN, DOB, address, etc. thanks to the OPM breach, the Anthem Health Care breach, and lord knows what other breaches have occurred, so I guess they might as well have my fingerprints and facial analysis biometrics too.  What's next, blood type/DNA?  SMH.

They will have access to your bio data from driving records, social media and passport photos. Trust me, they'll know who you or someone else are as soon as you/they step foot on the property.

While working at CGHQ I traveled a bit.  There was a company the TSA contracted with to do the bio eye scans as a method of ID-ing the passenger.  It was supposed to allow you to bypass the long lines at the TSA checkpoints.  A bunch of us did these eye scans.  Shortly afterwards the contractor bankrupted and bailed.  We voiced our concern with the brass but I'm not sure whatever became of our bio data.
