I have a lot of very old photos I will find eventually. I may choose to try to turn them into E-photos and post them. I feel kind of silly trying to show proof. Anyone that knows their stuff can tell I am not BSing because of the depth of my knowledge. When I got older my best friend took all kinds of pictures of our deer and had a scrap book and hung our sika skulls in the camp on his property. I didn't need to do any of it. When he died about 15 to 20 years ago I don't know where they went. I think his brother gave me a couple but I didn't ask for any of them.

I really never tried to fill the massive void in my life after his death. I didn't hunt his property a decade. I didn't start taking pictures or doing any of the stuff he loved to do to document our adventures. I am not sure exactly why I made those decisions. It really didn't make any sense. But those that have lost someone that was like a brother can probably understand what I was going through and why I made the decisions I made. Even if they can't put it into words either. I just know that I missed him and not the pictures or hunting his property. When my relatives and friends kept asking to see pictures of the deer I got. I just told them I didn't take any. They got to see the antlers if they merited being saved. And they already knew that I had the best chance to be the one to get a big sika stag and what a passion it was for me ever since I was 13.

At some point I will find the photo album that makes no difference to me, and I will try to post the pictures from my youth and any that got thrown between the covers because I didn't know where else to put photos people gave me. The envious or threatened ones will no doubt still mouth off as website trolls always do. So I think it is a waste of time. But I promise I will keep my eye out and check where I think they might be. I still have them somewhere. I can't even remember what pictures are in it but I know for at least the first 10 years of hunting should be in there. Probably some random pictures after that. Like I said my best friend was there for all of it and he had the pictures taken after that and showed them off constantly. I didn't need to do the same because we had the same friends. It enhanced telling the stories about hunting but that is about it. I hate when people try to make hunting a contest between hunters. It is a contest between you and your quarry.

Ted,
it is unfortunate that you have been pressed to feel that you need to validate your experiences by posting photos that you may or may not have. I, like many others that have expressed the same, appreciate and welcome your stories, with or without pictures. I am 51 years old and do not have anywhere near the experience that you or many of the younger hunters that I have met do have in the woods but have fished my entire life and have seen some things that would be hard to believe without a picture. I carry those experiences and will share them until I die or no longer have the ability to share even though For most I have no pictures.

You are right about that and that sucker got me for some money too ! Actually I think I was the sucker in that one. Be careful throwing out the word “political”, you’ll be ridiculed and told to not look if you don’t like it and then labeled a liberal Democrat or a whiny baby.....

Sorry about your best friend. It really sucks losing someone you are very close to. Keep doing what you are doing and keep posting as long as posts as you want. I for one enjoy a good story

I enjoy reading them also, just don't believe them all, no biggy. Just like a lot of you not believing my stories but most of mine are backed up with proof. I do understand that everyone is different and many believe some and not others. Specially if they hang with some that have there false beliefs, they just follow the leader so to speak. As most all of you know I'm not much on believing if I'm not seeing, telling it as I think is usually my way. As far as pictures I grew up without many, a few here and there usually from someone else, just not albums full. I wish I did start early with pictures, many things I wish I could look back on, the mountains and many hunting trips. As I got older the pictures I did have were around to look at, relive memories, share with you all and others. I grew up with a father figure that took pictures of every hunt, grouse, quail, pheasants, deer everything and it's nice to look back at them. He passed and these pictures are dear to my heart. Teddy can post all the post he wants, I will read them and at times tell what I think like it or not.
Kenny not sure about your comment but I have killed 5 hinds.

So Teddy have at it, I do enjoy the reads just have a different look at some of them.
This is a great place, just at times things get out of hand just like anywhere.
Expressing my thoughts doesn't help in some eyes.

A tough crowd. Careful on what you post. I can't even find pics of my first 6 point stag and that was just 5 years ago. I guess it never happened. I hunted a lot of ducks and geese once and we had a primo spot on Shipping Creek and we absolutely mauled them every time out. Well, my old iPhone died and I lost every single picture I ever had so I guess that didn't happen either. This site is so dead half the time I rarely even look at it anymore. I remember not long ago BD was crying that nobody was posting anything and he was 100% correct. FINALLY, some life is injected into the site and everybody has a problem with it. Clearly the man knows how to hunt. Maybe he doesn't do it the way you do it but who cares. Relax fellas. A fellow hunter who clearly has a passion for hunting. I rarely harvest anything anymore but it's the journey of doing what I love to do that keeps me coming back time and time again. Does that make me less of a hunter who harvests something every time out. Hardly.

Sikaman obviously knows sikas, no doubt there. He has injected a lot of life into the dying Wallow. If you don't like it, don't read it. It's that simple!

Does anybody anybody speak now tell me who you are, think that's sika 1 2 3 4 really cares 1 bit about any negativity written towards him? He has posted and continued to post relentlessly, continuing to share details of his most personal experiences. He is very willing to share everything, regardless of any criticism which he most certainly has had a taste of for many years in much smaller company then a website full of thousands of hunters.

This is just the way I see it...

I could be wrong...

Thinking about buying some Gillette razors for I am starting to feel abusive

Honestly fellas, does anybody need to prove anything to anybody on this site? I haven't read Sitkaman's stories but, who cares. Bypass them if you think they are BS or enjoy them. Lotta fisherman here with their "jumped clean over the boat" stories as well.

I have read enough to come to my own conclusion. I'm done with telling my thoughts on sikaman1234, I believe a lot of what he says, trust me I do.
Just some of his comments and facts are to far off from the truth. You all can believe what you want, just shows you don't know either.
I'm sure 1/2 of you think I'm full of it also and like sikaman1234 I don't give a chit.
