So did anyone bag any birds? I shot my first one! It's a hen, but a good bird nonetheless. Getting a fan mount done from Ray Hitchcock's Taxidermy. The weather was perfect the first part of the day.

Congrats on your first turkey- any legal bird is a good bird.  I chased them off and on for years before tagging my first one.  Never really tried the fall season, but its a great time to be in the mountains.

I know exactly where those pictures were taken. We go camping very close to that location and have visiting it many times. The view is awesome in winter after a snow and during fall when the leaves start to change.

Congrats.

I haven`t hunted fall birds for years. Never had much luck at it, so I just save my tags for gobbling season.
