OK, so I take my crossbow to Bass Pro and they say that they'd have to order me a new string.  I decided to call Macrotech to see if they have one, they said come on up and they'll see.  I get there only to find out that one of my limbs is cracked in 3 places.  Anyone out there have experience with hortons warranty policy?  Just wondering if I'll have to pay for these to be replaced or if they really stand by thier product.  Either way, it sucks!  But at least I can use the compound.  I just hope my shoulder holds up for the rest of the season.  Hurt it last year and decided that altering the 2 would save me a lot of pain.  There goes that plan unless I can get things in order.

Thanks Mike!  I sent them an email tonight and will touch base in the morning.  I haven't had any pain in the shoulder for quite some time, but would like to keep it that way.  If I have any issues, I'll let you know.

BTW, I won't be able to do any weekdays, but Saturday looks good for us to get out there.  How is that for you?  I'll send you a PM abut the same thing.

Thanks!
Dave

My brother just had a similar situation happen to him with his parker. Parker replaced the whole thing without too much of a fuss. The reason behind the limbs failing was his nocks. You may want to give them a once over.

Here again, Horton stands up to do the right thing. Haven't heard alot of bad press on their product service and that had alot to do with choosing Horton.

Had to send my Legend 175 back 2 years ago it totally blew up. Come to find out there was a recall on the limb bolts. There customer servive couldn't have been any better. Check there website because they listed the serial numbers on it that were recalled.

Took them over a week to respond, but it's on it's way to get fixed.  Sent it out, but they don't think they can do it under warranty.  Sucks, but I have a 9 yo that uses this thing as well.  I'd hate it if anything happened to him because of a bow that was damaged.  All new... soon... I hope...!

OK, it should be back tomorrow or so.  They replaced the string and limbs, but only charged me for the string.  $26 including shipping... well worth it.  They couldn't find my warranty info, but took me at my word that I bought it less than 3 years ago.  Wow, they do have quality service there!  Glad to see that they haven't lost the personal touch for us sportsman.
