Getting ready to head out my self. Saw 8 bucks yesterday morning, a Mid 120's and a mid 140's were the best out of the 8 bucks. |

Corn is screwing me up too...The only deer I saw in the last 16 hours of tree sitting were in the last hour before dark...two bucks acting rutty but nothing full bore yet. Saw several does with no bucks showing any interest.
The bigger buck headed up to the oak ridge to (i assume) check his scrapes.
South wind is not good for my setups on this farm...not sure what the PM plan is.

Ditto. Seems like things are starting to heat up but with all the corn still standing makes for a difficult time.

Not yet time where I hunt in Talbot. Spent Thurs. pm and this morning in different stands. Bumped a 4 pt on the way into the stand Thursday about 3 pm. Has a decent buck in the field when I came out at dark. This morning I set up a decoy. Saw 6 does/fawns, none with any interested bucks. One nice buck across the field who would perk up and listen to my grunts, but wasn't interested in the sound or the decoy. |
