I made this Backwoods waterheater faily easy and cheap. A few Compresion fittings and copper tubing.

Works real good camping and at deer camp. The water circulates itself when heating. Can use coal or wood in the coffee can as fuel source

I just turn on my water faucet and hot water comes out. I never thought of getting a bucket for the house. Hot water at deer camp...that comes out of the Hyatt faucet as well...they have clean towels every morning and someone makes your bed..novel idea.

Could have used that about 25 years ago when I was hunting in a club in Garret Co. during gun season. Stayed at this old tar paper cabin that had a pitcher pump outside. About 3 days into the week couldn't stand my own smell anylonger so ended up taking a shower/bath under that pump, outside on a piece of old carpet in the snow. Talk about cold!!!

Good idea!

You definately get an A+ for ingenuity but there are some good and cheap setups out now that can run off your truck or are propane powered and portable.  Then on the otherhand you could always get a hotel for 60 bones and take a real shower lol.  Our camp has hot water but you really wouldnt want to take a shower in it unless you like the smell of rotten eggs....
